Project Summary

Bonibi redefines functional accessories with a versatile phone case that shifts from crossbody to classic in seconds, thanks to a removable hook. Wahl Creative led the brand’s creative direction from the beginning, shaping its identity, voice, and visual language.

We partnered with Berlin-based design studio Studio Grau to develop the brand design and created a packaging concept that feels fun, bubbly, and full of positive energy. We also developed the brand’s core message “Unplug Your Hands”, which inspired all communication touchpoints from campaigns to photography and film, showing how Bonibi brings real value by freeing up your hands for what truly matters.

Our creative direction included three key projects:

  • Lifestyle Photography
    Captured authentic, everyday moments with a focus on real people using the product in dynamic, relatable situations.
  • Product Photography
    Bright, cheerful images that reflect the product’s Los Angeles roots. The visuals highlight Bonibi’s color range and removable hook design in a way that feels sun-soaked and optimistic.
  • Outdoor Film Production
    In collaboration with the Outdoor Film Collective 6AM, co-founded by Annette Wahl, we created a short film showcasing Bonibi in the wild. Climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, camping, and swimming, to spotlight its hands-free versatility across a range of outdoor experiences.

Bonibi is built for movement, spontaneity, and style. Through holistic brand building and visual storytelling, Wahl Creative helped bring this product-driven brand to life.
